January 27th, 2013.Bunch of Titans, Supers and Capitals found their doom in low sec, Asakai system.I aam not going to write about who escalated, who was an idiot or who was the genius of this battle.I am only going to give my opinion about why HBC cannot win a war against CFC, even with PL help.
The Battle of Asakai was a battle between CFC and the rest of EVE, give or take.PL+HBC+NCdot+BL.+DnD(low sec alliance)+VoC(a WH alliance)+N3(Nulli was there)+Providence bloc(Severance and Thorn were there)…even RA was there.To spare words, except SOLAR, everyone was pounding CFC.How did the battle ended? CFC lost badly against EvE.
Let’s see how this battle would have been in null, mkay?
1,300 EvE vs 800 CFC. CFC had about 28 titans that couldn’t DD…in null sec, there would have been 28 caps dead, after 10 min another 28, and so on.The battle would have been won by CFC hand down.After first 30 min, CFC would have killed like 75 of the enemy supers and capitals…my bet is that after those 30 min, the invaders would gtfo asap.
This battle was a mistake.DBRB should not had brought Titans in low sec…it is common sense.Everyone hates CFC, and low sec allows EVERYONE to come in and pew.DBRB, the titans belong to null sec.Remeber, less than 2 weeks ago, when your cap fleet decimated DnD fleet?That was because Titans could DD.
I can’t estimate how the next battle will be for CFC or HBC.However, I can estimate that the numbers of Titans, supers and capitals on CFC side is bigger than PL and HBC one, and a war that won’t involve Nulli, NCdot and the rest of EvE, would be lost by HBC and PL.
